So who's excited for movie season? Avengers was great, and I'm also looking forward to Prometheus and Dark Crime Drama Featuring Psychopath in Latex III. The trailer to that film in particular made me immediately think of Patlabor 2, what with the city under threat and the bridge blowing up in the middle. If martial law is declared, I'll have no choice but to compare the two films, and maybe The Siege. If you haven't seen it, also check out Cabin in the Woods, theater hop if you have to, that film is hysterical.

Violet Chocolate Teacher

Finally getting another glorious Villetta doujinshi completed, this is one of four works by this artist, and other one other has been translated. As you can tell, we have arbitrary method of picking our next selections, so those could be done next time or months from now, it all depends on how we feel. But these books are very good looking and easy to translate, so maybe they'll pop up sooner. I think there's about another 10 or so projects I have left to do for her, along with another 20 or so for Manya.

Superstitious X

Now with the TV show out and gaining popularity, there's some renewed interest in getting the current doujinshi finished before Comiket82 hopefully dumps a bunch more on us. Hoods has been doing a pretty bang-up job on the show with an off-kilter atmosphere and OST that mirror the tone and atmosphere that the early parts of the manga exude. I'm curious to see where the anime goes and differs from the TV show, but 13 episodes might not be enough to go the places it needs to.

There's two other doujinshi for MGX that are untranslated, and we might get around to them.
